Our Story

Tucked away in a stretch of shops just across from Penn Square Mall sits Dick Story Optical. Our long-standing optical shop has been locally owned and operated since 1971.

Working under the store’s original Dick Story since 1977, the newest owner, Dave Trent, purchased the shop from his mentor in 1996. Dave has been in the optical industry for over 44 years and his expertise in the field is nothing short of extraordinary. In the 23 years since taking ownership of the shop himself, Dick Story Optical has grown exponentially.
